The Index is REY’s onchain social discovery layer and leaderboard. Every action you take — trades, referrals, engagement — earns you XP and grows your profile and rank. Your faction determines how the platform rewards you.

The Index started as a social experiment and InfoFi was born as a result of it.

In V.1, REY distributed over $600K in incentives across the community. Over 300K participants. Over 1,850 made it to the Index.

The Index V2 is the upgraded onchain version of this. Redesigned around XREY, dynamic mining, and the Vault.

XP accumulates from everything you do on REY:

• Trading: Every onchain action earns XP proportional to volume, size and fees paid.
• Referrals: Bringing active users earns referral XP, XREY and direct fees based on their volume and actions.
• Streaks: Regular activity compounds faster than sporadic spikes and earns you multipliers for consistency.

Your total XP determines your position on the Index. Higher position = more visibility, more access, and a stronger claim on Vault distributions when seasons close.

Not all XREY is created equal. REY uses a dynamic mining rate that rewards early and active users:

• Early adopters mine at the highest rate. The fewer users on the platform, the more XREY each dollar in fees generates.
• As REY grows, the mining rate adjusts. More users = more competition for the same XREY output. Your early accumulation becomes increasingly valuable over time.
• Each season recalibrates. XREY economics are elastic — they adapt based on volume, user count, and Vault size to keep the system balanced and sustainable.

This isn’t a flat points program. It’s a living system where timing, consistency, and strategy all matter.

The Index ranks users into tiered factions with unique traits based on cumulative XP and XREY holdings and other platform behaviors.

Higher factions unlock:

• Stronger Vault positions during seasonal distributions
• Priority access to new features and mechanics
